Legal Translation Services in Singapore

Certified translation of contracts, court documents and corporate filings for law firms, in-house legal teams and businesses. Every translation is done by a human translator, proofread and edited before delivery, and formatted to match the original.

What we translate

  • Contracts and agreements: commercial contracts, NDAs, memoranda of understanding, shareholder and employment agreements
  • Court and dispute documents: pleadings, affidavits, witness statements, judgments and arbitral awards
  • Corporate documents: constitutions, board resolutions, annual reports and ACRA filings
  • Intellectual property: patents and trademark filings
  • Laws and regulations: acts, regulations and official notices
  • Personal documents for legal use: birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates, wills and probate documents

Certified, sworn and notarised translations

  • Certified translation: carries our translator’s signed declaration that it is accurate and complete.
  • Translator’s affidavit: for court use, our translator swears an affidavit of translation before a Commissioner for Oaths, in person or by video link. Your firm prepares the affidavit and appoints the Commissioner.
  • Notarisation and apostille: we arrange notarisation and the Singapore Academy of Law apostille for documents used abroad. See Delivery and Collection for options and fees.
  • ACRA filings: our team includes an ACRA-approved translator for English, Chinese and Japanese.

Frequently asked questions

Will the court or authority accept your translation?

Our translations are regularly filed with the Singapore courts, ICA, MOM, ACRA and embassies, and none has been rejected to date. Requirements differ between authorities, so send us the receiving authority’s checklist and we will prepare the translation to match.

What is the difference between a certified translation and a translator’s affidavit?

A certified translation carries the translator’s signed declaration of accuracy. An affidavit is sworn before a Commissioner for Oaths, for use where a court or tribunal needs evidence on oath.

Can you handle urgent work?

Yes. Express work runs into extended weekday and Saturday hours at a quoted price. Sunday and public holiday work is available on written request.
