Rates

Interpretation is usually quoted on a per hour basis. Keeping our prices competitive is one of the value propositions of Eureka Translations. Factors determining the cost of interpretation include:

• Off-site or on-site service
• Whisper, consecutive, over-the-phone or simultaneous
• Native or non-native speaker(s)
• Number of languages required per event
• Complexity of topic

Please note that the following requirements apply to our interpretation rates:

• The hourly or daily rate depends on content, language combination, simultaneous or consecutive interpretation, etc.
• Minimum charge is 4 hours. This is to compensate our interpreter’s preparation and commuting time since subject matter experts can minimally take half-day leave
• Overtime (OT) rate of 50% mark-up between 5pm to 9am on weekdays and all hours on Saturdays apply. For Sundays and Public Holidays, the OT rate is 100% mark-up.
